Cold chain

In the cold chain – a traditional consumer of the polyurethane solutions by Purcom – the thermal insulation capacity of the rigid foam ensures the preservation of food in refrigerators, freezers, ice cream carts and cold storage counters. The formulations are also applied to solar heaters and adhesives for bonding thermal insulated panels.

All this with no damage to the environment, as Purcom uses Ecomate, a 100% eco-friendly expansion agent, first brought by Purcom from the USA in 2005. Additionally, the company reuses industrial surplus of rigid foam from the customers in the production cycles, through Reverse Logistics, creating social, economic and environmental benefits.
