Rigid Polyurethane Foam

What is a rigid Polyurethane foam?
Rigid polyurethane foam in its essence is a polymer commonly used to make structural foams. This characteristic is intrinsic to the material itself because it results from the chemical conduct of a group of atoms in union with expansion gas.
To work with rigid polyurethane foam, a compound is made of the elements that integrate the polymer, inserted continuously in structures already adapted to receive it. The injection, which occurs from the use of a specific machine, allows the response of the polyurethane through its hardness, which makes it firm on the surfaces.

Where to apply rigid polyurethane foam?
At the expense of the versatility of the material itself, rigid polyurethane foam becomes a product full of capabilities in a wide range of applications. The application of rigid polyurethane foam is generally intended for structural parts and technical parts that require high mechanical strength.

Purcom specializes in polyurethane being the largest Independent Systems House in Latin America, it has already produced more than 2 thousand polyurethane formulas contributing to the growth of its customers through the polyurethane solutions platform.<
Another difference of Purcom is the CIP (Purcom intelligence center), where it is possible to develop and test rigid polyurethane foam and check its characteristics of hardness (resistance) and durability in various products or projects.
